Bute Park, October 2005

the shots here were taken just before winter proper set in. Bute's is actually the heart and lungs of cardiff, it being located just a short distance away from senghennydd and town. At one end is the Cardiff's Castle, while at the other you can find a small horse's stable. In between is the sports centre equipped with a hockey turf, a rugby stadium and a bowling alley as well! With the River Taff running through the park, this makes it a hugely popular spot for anglers. Having said so, seeing fishes migrating upwards, jumping across a man-made "step" and witnessing people tracking the fishes using antenneas (just like in National Geographic) is really rewarding indeed! Furthermore, the park is dotted by numerous rugby-cum-football fields, and needing only about 45-odd minutes to circle the park; it's wonderfully compact but reasonably large for hosting celebrations such as "Bonfire". 'really love this park! =P
