ka-li huu-thao hor chiak beh-si ah!
British food literally is as bland as it can get. Peas, chips, fries, chilli-corn-carne, bacon, boiled-vegs, sausages, bread, brains?? How long could they have actually put up with such monotonous, unsavoury nor inspiring palate? Therefore, we, the rojak-kings of bolehland' are in fact sent here with the very noble intention of enlightening the less-enlightened with proper food; 'tuu-kha-sui', bak-kut-teh, nasi lemaks, char-koay-teow and 'ka-li huu-thau'!! you name it, we have it! Roti twin-towers oso got-ok! Can you beat that-ah??
Come to think of it, its actually not so much of me craving for mummy’s or pa’s cooking* , but just the fact that there is always someone who decides what you to eat and ultimately gets the food prepared! Simple. No need to crack the head so much and think what is to be cooked at every meal!

Hahha, we tried cooking nasi lemak before, and it took us 5 trials before the really nice one could be produced. Hehe..ANd sambal too!!
Never tried cooking fish head coz I think they have diff species of fish here and those salmon, haddock, or tuna head wouldn't taste the same I guess!~ Urs look very apetizing!~

fully agree with you about cracking heads.. had the same problem even back in KL and ended up having a schedule, monday this tuesday this etc etc.. easy ..just think for once and that's it =P
In cardiff, even easier.. open the fridge " Oh.. I have this this this and this, ok chop them up and all in the pot , done!"
