I guess you win some battles, you loose some.
Little petty things should not bother one too much, it's the greater tangible items which are of more concern!
As long as one enjoys and makes the most of the situation, I think it's a worthwhile sacrifice.
Heck, having heavy snowfall which necessitates a mandatory stay-at-home can be fun too!
