on pre-EThiCs exam prepartion.....or just the lack of it?

owh well, it's almost time to call it a day already for me. not too good i would say the ammount of effort which i was trying to cram within the past 2-3 days.. ethics, ethics, ethics; why do we have to slog all out it in the 1st place? one thing for sure, i'm not a huge fan of terminologies, ie 'advance statements', 'competency in making decisions', 'anonymizing patient's data', 'Gellieck competence' etc. owh well, i already damn tulan going thru the whole stack of never-ending GMC booklets on ethics. the thing with ethics is that, it's not really an issue of moral righteousness; moreso a legal framework which we all have to abide.....so why call it ethics in the 1st place? Beats me too!! and they say in the UK , a child of 16 years of age can actually decide which course of treatment he prefers, if he posseses the mental capacity to do so! won't all teenagers envy that? Can veto parents already leh! ^^*Must also thank Alan for setting up the small discussion on MSN in the afternoon; really riveting as it showed where i was lacking, and how many lightyears the rest of the medics were ahead of me! haha!! but then again, i was'nt too tension also before that; only until then, the pre-exam 'dinosours' set in....... Then again, i had to pass the Man Utd-Liverpool derby commentary on BBC... well, mebe their win today was attributed to my non-tuning in, cos the week b4, against man city, they actully lost while i was following it, and today, msia lost in badminton oso.......very wierd hor:)

nevertheless, Malaysia lost the in the finals of the ALL England Badminton, AGAIN! a real dissapointment, considering we managed 3 pairs in the semis! I was actually following the match online *; 1st set they lost, 2nd set i tot they would loose also, but a brief moment of magic allowed them to return from the brink of defeat (4-13) to register a 17-14 triumph! Unbelievable! Luckily, Shak came online (he woke up at the right moment), i really could'nt concentrate on continuing reading stale 'human respiratory' from Pococks; i then rushed to his ever-inviting house for the god-sent TV (*score only, talk about who's nearer to Birmingham; my bro was following it LIVE et home!). Was supposed to go to Bute's to have a taste of the cardiff's XC (cross-country), but i sacrificed it for the sake of Malaysia....and was it worthwhile? Hmmm..of course, i have'nt seen a malaysian in action (on TV) in any sport for ages, but i would say Choong-Lee was a dissapointment, especially tanfook. Kind of perculiar as LeeWanWah is the one who always succumbs to final jitters.....they could have given the Danes a meatier encounter, but it was a great comeback journey for them anyhow. Pat on the back for the other 2 pairs, Fairuzizuan-Lin and Gan-Zakry, and not to forget Chongwei too, who showed great spirit though falling to LinDan eventually.

Lastly, sipping Irish cream while listening to Josh Groban/Il Divo makes a very delectable mix indeed to pull thru the night!

oklor, tomolo(today) must wake up later oso.......zzzzZZzzZZZzz^^
