Every cloud has a silver lining...

To whom this may concern,

1. My name is xxx, a current medical student from Cardiff University. I have been offered a Foundation Year 1 job with Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor from July 2010 - August 2011

2. Regretfully, due to commitments with my sponsors in Malaysia, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining a leave of stay to commence my foundation year 1 post here. Hence I am unable to take up the aforementioned position.

3. I do sincerely apologise for all the inconveniences caused by this last-minute decline. I believe I would have very much enjoyed working in the above posting next year if not for this unfortunate turn of events.

4. I would like to thank you all for your grace consideration and kind assistance in presenting me with this wonderful opportunity to work here. I hope that sometime in the future I would have another chance to gain some working experience here as well.
