Cinelli Pro Best of (Super Record/Bora) '09Cinelli Man Machine '09Bianchi 928 Ho.C Carbon SL Super Record '09Bianchi 928 C2C Carbon Veloce Bike '09Bianchi 928 C2C Carbon Centaur '09Both with typical Italian flair and legendry in road-racing history: I personally prefer the bold design/color scheme of Cinelli, more in-the-face sort of 'look, i'm quick you know', whilst the
Bianchi feels more understated, contented with providing the rider an uneventful delivery of power and precision with utmost comfort for distance riding. Aesthetics wise, Cinelli trumps, but there's still the Cubes, Orbeas, Carvelos and Colnagos. .. malaysians tend to opt for either one of the big C's~ bet-cha my big B can chase the daylight out of them too! Prolly need to change the cranks sometime couple years down the road, not it's be a struggle with speed, and up hill too... erm....too soon still la. better train more, in these good weather. No sleeping like a piggy too much! You ask them dudes in Rhyl then, first thing they will bring out is that, ' oh, so you know that fler,
he tends to nap loads in the evenings aye?' OoihHH! Damn
paiseh-la...
On a separate note, been reading this
dude's inspirational story of chasing one ironman one after another: somewhere in between he brought up a story of a well-endowed man with chubby love handles, who literally started from scratch, MTB'ing along jalan damansara/hartamas (somewhere there-la..), and now a regular kaki with cycling and such, even completing the Desaru-Trialthon, i mean it's pretty amazing. If one can set one's mind to something, i'm sure one will always find ways to overcome any obstacles along the way. Ditto with school work too. And swimming. And keeping MYSELF away from the keyboard from the schedule-disrupting internet addiction! :p
Adventures on Bianchi so far:
Bianchi's total mileage till now: 233km. Had my first puncture today. More so a self inflicted misfortune. Pump malfunction. Broke the tip of the air inlet tube. Lesson learnt: always loosen the bolt slightly downwards before applying the the pump nozzle. And keep it steady, as swaying will snap the already fragile head. Gears and brakes need a bit of alignment. Wires are starting to loosen up a bit, which is normal after the initial rides- that's what the shop said. Otherwise, all systems go.
Ah. Also, I know that people always say 'no pain no gain', but try saying this to a woman deep in labour- Sure get tight slap one! Maybe 2 tight slaps, one for you, and another to her partner, who may be supporting you alongside as well! Better to watch from afar, keep still and say.... "keep going, keep going, push push push.... and a bit more... That's it, excellent job!" ...and then the baby pops out, just like smarties coming out from the tube. If only it were to be so easy..
