Week #4 & 5

Countdown to Penang Bridge Half Marathon: 30th July

Monday: Badminton
Thursday: Cave crawling
Saturday: Badminton
Sunday: Part hill, part flats

Tuesday: Breached another psychological 1 hour mark!
Wednesday: approx 9km warmdown
Thursday: Badminton

-Nevertheless, i am still a sucker at racket games, that's for sure!!-

Verdict: The signs are pointing towards a really testing event. I reckon I could possibly pull through till the 15km mark, beyond that it's all gonna be mind over sore joints and lead-laden legs. Body seems to be rejecting morning runs, & daily recovery is taking longer than expected. Old age perhaps? Or is it just lack of will? 3 more days'; a mere taster of what's to come in October!
-Oh, & it'll be 22 instead of 21k! Shucks!-

Week #3

Countdown to Penang Bridge Half Marathon: 30th July

Monday: 30 mins light
Tuesday: 33 mins, 12 rounds of high intensity; wheeling
Wednesday: light run
Thursday: speed interspersed with light run; badminton
Friday: chill
Saturday: chill
Sunday: forced hill training; breached the psychological 50 mins mark since a very long time!

Verdict: 2 more weeks only! Progress!

Week #2

Countdown to Penang Bridge Half Marathon: 30th July

Monday: morning blitz, evening 30 mins - progress!
Tuesday: 15 mins nia... blame it on meeting the couple-kawan :(
Wednesday: chilling
Thursday: 40 mins mid-low intencity
Friday: 35 mins mid-high intencity
Saturday: walking the hill, swimming
Sunday: hill training: 33 mins high intensity

Verdict: consistency returning, though exactly 3 weeks from now only; still loads to catch up
